A man in a Subaru Impreza, a woman in 60s and a teenager all needed treatment after following a two car collision in Edgbaston.
An Ambulance Service worker said: “On arrival at the scene crews discovered two cars that had suffered significant damage and three patients, all of whom were conscious throughout.
“The man was treated for a leg injury and transported to City Hospital, Birmingham.
“The teenager was assessed and thankfully appeared to have escaped serious injury but was taken to Birmingham Children’s Hospital as a precaution.
“The second car had suffered a large amount of damage to the side of the vehicle.
“There was a single occupant in the car, a woman in her 60s, who was treated for chest pain. She was then taken to City Hospital, Birmingham for further assessment.”
